Sesame Garlic Bread Sticks

If you're a breadstick lover you have to try this super easy recipe. They are yeast free so they're super quick and easy to make. This recipe works great with our without the sesame seeds and sesame oil.

 

All you need is:

 

2-1/4 cups of self rising flour (plus more for kneading and rolling)

 

1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil (plus more for drizzling)

 

1 tsp of sesame oil (plus more for drizzling)

 

1/4 tsp of salt

 

1 tsp of garlic powder

 

1/2 cups of water

 

 

Preparation:

 

Sift flour and salt together and stir in garlic powder. Next pour in water, extra virgin olive oil,  and seseame oil. Stir until a ball of dough forms. With floured hands knead the dough for 3-4 minutes until smooth. (If dough is sticky add in more flour 1 tsp at a time until the dough is no longer sticky) Place dough back in bowl and cover with plastic wrap or a kitchentowel and let rest at room temprature for 15-20 minutes.

 

Place dough on a floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes, then roll dough out to until it's about 1/3 of an inch thick. Next drizzle dough with additional sesame and extra virgin olive oil. Then sprinkle with garlic powder and sesame seeds. Use a pizza roller or knife to cut your desired size sticks and bake at 400* for 15 minutes then on broil for 1 minute until the bread sticks are golden brown.  Thats it.
