If your're looking for a new way to enjoy eating broccoli you have to try this spicy broccoli with garlic. The great thing about this recipe is that it is so versatile and it only has 4 ingredients. You can try this with any of your favorite veggies. It would be amazing with asparagus, carrots, brussel sprouts, green beans or even kale. I love spicy food so I add a good amount of red pepper flakes but you can always add as little or as much as you like.
All you need is:
About 4-5 Cups of Fresh Broccoli
4 Tbs of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 Cloves of Garlic Finely Chopped
1/4 Tsp of Red Pepper Flakes (you can use more or less depending on how much spice you prefer.)
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add in oil, red pepper flakes, garlic and broccoli. Sautee ingredients for about 6-7 minutes (or more if you desire very tender broccoli). Add salt and pepper to taste. That's it!!
