Basmati Fried Rice!

I love this recipe so much. Basmati rice is my favorite rice of all. Its nutty flavor compliments almost everything. For this recipe I used Brown Basmati rice but you can always use white rice. I also served this with toasted pita bread.

Serves 2-3

All you need is:

4 cups of cooked basmati rice

1 medium potato diced small

2 tbs of fresh cilantro chopped

1/2 tsp of turmeric powder

1 tsp of ground coriander

1/2 tsp of onion powder

1/2 tsp of garlic powder

Next add in garlic, carrots and peppers and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes or until the vegerables become tender. Then add in the rice, chickpeas, and seasonings and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Stir in cilantro and add salt and pepper to taste. That’s it.
