Vegan Holiday Cooking!

 

Whether you're a new or a veteran vegan the holiday season is always a bit challenging, especially if you spend your Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with non-vegan family and friends. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been invited to a holiday dinner and ended up surrounded with food that I could not eat with the exception of the super bland an uninspired side salad....If I was lucky. Recently I've been able to prepare myself by preparing a few dishes to bring along with me or even staying home to prepare my own completely vegan holiday dinners. This year I thought it would be amazing to teach a Vegan Holiday Kick Off Cooking Class/ Dinner. I will teach you how to veganize some of your favorite holiday foods along with a few new dishse that you can add to your upcoming holiday menu.

 

 

 What To Expect

 

Great music. Great Food & Great People - In the Let's Be Vegan cooking classes we will all work together in a fun, hands-on, comfortable environment.

 

  • Because of the extensive menu this class will last round 4 hours

  • Expect to chop, stir, mix and cook

  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes 

  • You will enjoy a generous portion of every dish

  • Lentil Wild Rice "Meat" Loaf

  • Purple Mashed Potaotes with White Pepper Gravy

  • "Turkey" Dressing (We'll be using Jackfruit)

  • Super Cheesey Mac and Cheese

  • Southern Smokey Black Eyed Pea & Collard Stew

  • Mexican Cornbread

  • Cranberry Compote

  • Apple Crumb Cake with Coconut Cream
